St Helens are poised to welcome back a trio of internationals for Friday's derby with Warrington.
Saints have been without up to six regulars through injury at any one time so far this season but they welcomed back winger Ade Gardner and back row forwards Jon Wilkin and Chris Flannery for Friday's 37-30 win over Crusaders.
Mick Potter's men emerged injury-free from that match and they hope to have full-back Paul Wellens and centres Matt Gidley and Si Soliola available this weekend.
"We're looking a little bit better," said Potter.
"Paul Wellens is a definite and we'll see how Matt Gidley and Si Soliola progress."
Saints will also be strengthened by the return of forward Tony Puleta, who was a late withdrawal from last Friday's team with a back spasm.
