New sponsor deal for Rovers

Hull KR have secured a major new sponsorship deal with online bookmaker Sportingbet.com.

The club have described the 12-month agreement with one of Europe's largest internet betting firms as one of the "most significant partnerships Rovers have made in their 127-year history".

The news is timely coming amid reports of financial difficulties at Craven Park and after the Super League club revealed they faced a fine for failing to submit accounts on time.

Rovers chairman Neil Hudgell said: "Hull KR has grown into one of the leading clubs in the game and this partnership reinforces this."
