Ellis in All Stars squad

England forward Gareth Ellis has been confirmed as one of the world's leading players after being named in the NRL All Stars team to face the Indigenous All Stars at Gold Coast's Skilled Park on February 13.

Only one player from each NRL side was able to be selected in the 20-man squad, and ex-Leeds second-rower Ellis got the vote to become the Wests Tigers representative following a poll of more than 50,000 rugby league fans.

The squad, coached by Wayne Bennett, includes automatic selections Darren Lockyer, Benji Marshall, Billy Slater, Cameron Smith and Adam Blair.
