Kemp named kiwis team manager

Former Leeds and Castleford stand-off Tony Kemp has been appointed full-time team manager with New Zealand.

The ex-Wakefield Wildcats coach takes over from Gordon Gibbons as part of a re-shuffle of the Kiwis management team.

World Cup-winning coach Stephen Kearney will again have former Wigan winger Tony Iro as his assistant for the Anzac Test against Australia in Melbourne on May 7 and the end-of-season Four Nations, while former Kiwi captain Ruben Wiki becomes high performance manager.

Former Leeds coach and Wigan legend Dean Bell has relinquished his role of football manager due to his commitments as New Zealand Warriors' recruitment and development manager.
